A personal guide for your next chapter
Start building a career that fits your life.
Career OS helps you understand what you want, recognize what you bring, and turn both into a practical path to find meaningful work or make your current work more meaningful. First, open the right AI app. Once it can work with a persistent local folder and run commands, it will guide GitHub access and the rest of setup.
Your answers stay in this browser. Nothing is submitted, stored, or added to your career information.
Already in the recommended desktop AI app, with access to local folders and commands? Skip to the setup instructions.

What happens next
The right app first. Everything else follows there.
-
1
Choose the right app
The matcher uses your computer and the AI you already know to choose one supported route. Documentation alone is not enough; beginner routes must work in a real setup.
-
2
Open the exact mode
Choose Codex rather than Chat or Work. A connected folder alone does not prove local command access. Career OS will stop rather than continue in the wrong interface.
-
3
Give the app the setup instruction
Paste one instruction. The app checks its own access before it touches GitHub or creates anything on your computer.
-
4
Get reviewed updates through GitHub
The workspace guides account or invitation steps, clones only the exact private repository supplied by your inviter, verifies it, and keeps career information separate.
Built-in boundary
A private place for the whole story
Once setup is complete, your experience, ambitions, needs, and career work live together in a private folder on your computer. The public setup page only gets you there; you stay in control of what the system reads, changes, and helps you act on.
